The company TEREA Cheb s.r.o. was established in 1994 as a joint venture of Cheb City and GELSENWASSER AG. The aim of founding the company was mainly to strengthen the possibilities of energy cooperation. Subsequently, the heat supply system for the city of Cheb was rebuilt from coal-fired boiler rooms and heavy fuel oil to natural gas boiler rooms. At the same time, this cooperation has paved the way for technological innovation. Cogeneration units for joint production of electricity and heat, heat pumps and solar panels were installed. Now the company covers a wide portfolio of utilities management services (water, electricity, gas, heat), apartment and house management and construction activities not only for the city of Cheb, but also the surrounding municipalities (Františkovy Lázně, Nebanice, Plesná, Aš and others). TEREA Cheb s.r.o. implemented the K2 ERP enterprise system already in 2006.

Scope of K2 implementation in TEREA Cheb
TEREA Cheb uses the comprehensive ERP K2, including expansion modules, across all areas of the company – purchase, sale and production of media. A connection with the FormFlow Server document management system was created and the K2 DMS expansion module was implemented for recording contractual relationships and documents. The connection with the TEREA Cheb attendance system is solved using the K2 API.
