JAP INDUSTRIES s.r.o. was founded in 1993 as a family business and is engaged in the production of and trade in graphite electrodes and other carbon and graphite products, carburizers, ferroalloys, refractory linings, synthetic slags and other metallurgical and foundry materials. Over time, it has grown from a purely trading company into a manufacturing company and has gained customers in many countries in Europe and around the world. It has its own research and development team and is gradually expanding the area of all activities and increasing production capacity.

Scope of K2 implementation in JAP INDUSTRIES
The K2 system provides comprehensive management and administration in key areas of the company. Specifically, this includes the recording and management of the warehouse, purchasing and sales processes, bookkeeping and payroll processing, asset registration and management, logistics, planning and management of custom production, batch records, management of internal workflow processes, customer care within CRM and also technical preparation of production (TPP). The entire system thus constitutes a comprehensive solution linking together individual departments and ensuring a smooth flow of information across the company.
Interesting facts about K2 ERP implementation
- Production performance has been adapted to waste-free production. Under a single production order, a product or semi-finished product is created, as well as different types of input raw materials for other products.
- When a top-level job ticket is processed, subordinate job tickets are also automatically processed, including units, operations, and materials.
- Production planning simultaneously for warehouse and according to orders.
- When a bank statement is issued, the accounts to which a bank order can be sent are checked.
- Introduction of a workflow for approving documents throughout the company.
